The Steelers were actively trying to sign a veteran quarterback Friday night after losing Charlie Batch for at least a month to a broken right collarbone in their 16-10 win over the Eagles at Heinz Field. Batch left the game early in the second quarter after rushing for 6 yards on a broken play. Coach Mike Tomlin said he is expected to miss four to six weeks.
